Accepting:
• your original characters
• coloring (line art will be provided by you of course =))
• fanart
• sexy (or frontal nudity for girls. Nothing pornographic though)
I won’t accept:
• pornography
• nudity
• yaoi / yuri
• mechs
• realism
• cluttered or too detailed (well, if I’m in the mood for details, you’re in luck!)
HOW IT WORKS:
Send me a note at DeviantArt (ladyfish.deviantart.com) if you have an account there, or email me at ladyfish_7@yahoo.com containing the ff info:
1.DA username (if applicable) / your name
2.request details
3.preferred payment method
1.) Please state everything in your request. Character, setting for BG(if applicable), colors in mind, composition in mind, EVERYTHING. If it is an original, you might want to give me a background so I can understand his/her character better, to enable me to put his/her personality on canvas (er, Photoshop canvas, that is.)
2.) My Open Canvas license has expired so I will only be using Photoshop CS2 for everything.
3.) Don’t make me do a complete replica of someone else’s work. I don’t like copying. Let’s be original here. If it’s fan art, then I’m sure we can show some originality too. :)
4.) Once all details have been ironed out, I’ll start doing the sketch. It’ll be very rough and might change as the work progresses. I will be sending you screen captures of the work in progress (72dpi, watermarked) from time to time.
5.) Once I’m done, I’ll show you a screen capture of it (72 dpi watermarked) and wait for your payment. Once I confirm receipt of payment, I’ll email you the 300dpi JPEG, 8.5x11 artwork.
6.) Check my gallery before queuing for a commission. :) Just so I'm sure you're familiar with my style.
7.) If you’ve more than one commissioned artworks listed in one batch, you have to pay for one before another is done.
8.) Don’t SELL my art to anyone. Don’t CLAIM it as YOURS. If you are to post it in your gallery, lower its resolution, make it a small image so that no one copies it in full detail, watermark it and credit me.

My Christmas and Birthday Wishlist
I'd be broke by then, but I'm still hoping some blessed soul will send me these for my birthday. :) I dunno, like Santa maybe. Or George Lucas or Dumbledore...
here are some of the things on top of my wishlist:

HIBERNATING BEAR
They say when you're sick, the best way to recuperate is lots of water and bed rest. And boy did I take "bed rest" to the next level.
I woke up feeling really weak and was flaming hot around 6 in the morning. Texted Lei I couldn't come to work. After her reply, I texted Lee I was sick and that I was going to stay home and rest. After informing them, I closed my eyes to get more rest...and woke up at around 6 in the evening!!! The day zoomed by and I was sleeping like a hibernating bear!!! So when sleeping time was just around the corner, I was wide awake...and stayed that way till 5am!! Boy did I screw up my sleep routine.
I feel better now although still groggy from meds and stress. And now I'm back atthe office and Lee's pissed about it because he said I had to rest more.
There's nothing I could do really. I have to finish something, and I'll just get bored at home.
But, yeah, the sniffles hit me hard, alright! It got me pretty good.

The Doer of ART
Anyhoo, I did a few magazine covers of myself before but I didn't want to post those since it was the theme Rachey and her friend used. So I'll go for...
"Geisha", (gei) meaning "art" and (sha) meaning "person" or "doer".
Geisha are not prostitutes but lovers and doers of art.
The word Geisha means "artist" in Japanese.
Geisha are professional hostesses who entertain guests through various performing arts in tea houses called O-chaya. They are trained in a number of traditional skills such as Japanese ancient dance, singing, playing instruments such as the Shamisen, flower arrangement, wearing kimo no, tea ceremony, calligraphy, conversation, alcohol serving manners and more. Geisha continue to study and perfect these skills throughout their careers as geisha. A successful geisha must demonstrate beauty, grace, artistic talent, charm, impeccable etiquette, and refinement.
I admire their devotion to their career. Their patience in undergoing months (maybe even years) of maiko training is commendable. They understand their art and are adept at it.
I chose to show me as a geisha because in my field (arts), one has to have the same amount of patience and devotion.
Here's the instruction to this tag/meme:
1st step - Post a short blog article that includes a photograph (or a series of photos) showing the face behind your blog. If you already showed a photo somewhere on your site (such as in your about page), then make your post more interesting and choose a photo that’s not currently online.
2nd step - Include links to other people that have displayed a photo, or include their photos in your post, adding a reference.
3rd step - Tag as many others as you like in your post to spread the meme.
4th step - If you link back to me here and send an email I’ll be sure to include links back to you. Each person tagged should create their own post and repeat the process.I'm tagging Fran, Elaine, Sin, Jhungks, Duo, Eric, Shiela, Rayanne, Aileen, Ivan, Kelly, Francyn, Les, Tei, Mija, Jeyp and Kitty.

Guilty
Shocking News
It's sad enough that he's dead all of a sudden....but does it really have to be a double murder suicide inside the family? Condolences to all his friends and family.

Walking Tight Ropes
Yesterday, Lee and I were given a tough break, thanks to our friend. And last night was the first night I slept straight without having nightmares (or at least I woke up not remembering my REM dream). I felt so rested (though I was late for work hehe).
Thanks Paulie, Shiela, Rache, Lei and Fran for being there. You, at least, made the sleepness nights quite bearable.
And most importantly, thanks, Kuya Jess. You ARE indeed my personal Saviour.

Missing a lot...
Angry Brows
Saw this when I glanced at the mirror in front of me. No wonder Lei thought I was mad at her when I really wasn't.
Hahahaha!!!

Strange Feeling...
It’s not like the calm after the storm or before one. There’s not the slightest bit of tension inside. I just feel strangely calm.
It’s like…stopping in the middle of a busy street and becoming deaf to the noise the world makes, and suddenly, you see the world in full, vivid colors, and everything is as they should really be.
It’s like sitting on a swing…beside someone special, exchanging a serene silence that contains the most meaningful conversation without even having to open your mouths to speak. It’s something so powerful, so sincere. So pure.
And while it’s something I enjoy, it’s something that bothers some people.
